Eyes and Skintone on Photoshop

I've been trying to play around with skin tone and eye popping. I've tried it with pictures of Kayden, but his eyes are too dark to really show any difference. So, I found this pic that Sharree took of her gorgeous girls. With those beautiful blue eyes. Here's what I came up with.

After Photoshop
Is there any difference at all? I've looked at it so long, I can't tell anymore.

Holly's Wedding

Yesterday I got to attend the wedding of my friend, Holly. Her dad was there taking the pictures and let me shoot along side him. He is a fantastic photographer and gave me LOTS of great tips! It was really fun!
My indoor shots weren't the best, due to my flash, but here are a few that I really liked and played around with on Photoshop. (Too many vignettes? Maybe, but Jami just taught me how to do them and I think they're cool!)

I played around with this bouquet shot for a long time. I still don't love it...but...

I really like this one! It turned out so cute!

This is actually one of my favorites! Holly and Andy were just messing around, but the outcome was kinda cool looking!

The Shoe Shot! WOO HOO!

First off...I DID NOT TAKE THIS PICTURE. That said, I found it off a post on 2 Peas last night. The photographer was wanting help in making it clearer and blacking out the background. A helpful pea posted her suggestions, so I thought I'd copy the picture and see if I could follow her photoshop directions myself. So...

Here is the original

And here is what I came up with after Photoshop! Pretty good?

Now I want to try it by myself from scratch. I need to find a mom and a baby!

I've been messing around in Photoshop Elements with the filters. I think I have made the skin tone look better in these. Maybe. I'm still learning, but it's really fun! I wish I could afford to take a class...
